Did you guys miss me last weekend? Lets be honest, probably not and I don’t blame you. But if you did I’m sorry and I’m here to make it up for you with this new round of Best Bets of the weekend.

I thought I’d try a new format here and rank my top five bets from the college game and the NFL in order of confidence. Maybe that will make more money for you guys!

I’m not going to go over my picks last week but I’m sure they weren’t great. But YOLO. LFG.

5. North Carolina +26.5 vs. Clemson

This is me just picking for fun here. I think Mack Brown will have his young team juiced up enough at home to keep it within this number. On the other side Clemson could absolutely throttle the Tar Heels, but I’ll say Clemson 42 North Carolina 21.

4. Stanford -4 @ Oregon State

Another pick that I’m feeling sketchy with because it’s the conference opener for the Beavers and they could actually be better than Stanford. But, even though it has been a tough start for the Cardinal I think they come out angry and bully an inexperienced Oregon State team around. Stanford 21 Oregon State 14.

3. Ohio State -17.5 @ Nebraska

This one I actually feel somewhat comfortable with and probably will put a couple units on them. Ohio State has been on absolute roll to the start of this season winning by 24, 42, 41, and 71 points in there first four games. Nebraska barely squeaked by a bad Illinois team last week, and this could get ugly for Scott Frost and his team. Ohio State 45 Nebraska 20.

2. Mississippi State @ Auburn over 47.5

I’m laying down a couple of units on this one I feel that good about it. Both these teams are averaging over 30 points per game, and I believe this will become a bit of shootout. Yes, Auburn’s defense is very good but this Mississippi State offense is underrated. Look for 50 plus points and hopefully an easy cover by the beginning of the fourth quarter. Auburn 35 Mississippi State 27.

1. Penn State -6.5 @ Maryland

Maryland is overrated, especially at home. They whooped Syracuse and now everyone is afraid of them. Well, lets not forget that Penn State has the capability of being a top 5 team in this country when they want to play like it, and against a team like Maryland I’m calling a blowout and easy money. Penn State 38 Maryland 14.

BONUS PICK SINCE I”M FEELING FRISKY- NORTH TEXAS -7 VS HOUSTON

UCLA +175 @ Arizona

Coming off a improbable comeback victory against WSU, I think UCLA has momentum going against an average Arizona team. UCLA 52 Arizona 45.

5. Jaguars @ Broncos over 39

It’s just one of my rules that if the line is set at under 40 im taking it. This is just a rule that I follow and it has cost me a lot of money but as a stubborn jackass here I am. Jags 23 Broncos 17

4. Bucs +10 @ Rams

I’m going to say it loudly and proudly- I THINK THE RAMS ARE OVERRATED. The Rams are a top 10 team in football, but I think that defense is a real problem and against a good offensive team like the Bucs I’m thinking this will be within 10 points. Rams 28 Bucs 20.

3. Pats -7 @ Bills

Listen, I love the Bills and hope they win this game, but there’s no chance. I also think there’s no chance that they cover this in against a stacked Patriots team. Bills should play tough for 2.5-3 quarters but in the end depth and experience lets the Pats pull away. Pats 27 Bills 17

2. Chiefs -6 @ Lions

I feel like a damn rat taking this bait. I think Vegas sees a pretty good team in the Lions, and a very underrated one that they know they can make some money off. So here I am. ONE BIG FUCKING RAT WILLING TO TAKE THE CHEESE. And unfortunately I’m confident about this one, but the more I write the more my confidence shrinks. So for now Chiefs 31 Lions 20.

1. Colts -7 vs. Raiders

The lock of the century. HELL THE LOCK OF THE MILLENNIUM IS HERE. The Raiders got worked by a physical Vikings team last week and now have to travel east to play a good Colts team in another away game at a dome. This sounds like a recipe for what I exclaimed earlier, and I’ll yell it once more: THE LOCK OF THE MILLENNIUM. COLTS 38 RAIDERS 14. LFG
