Well here are we are yet again. I’m sorry for this late post, but if you can believe it gambling on sports does not make me enough of income to live. So unfortunately I have a real job, and even though I’m single, with no family within 1,000 miles and very little of a social life I still don’t always have the time to get these up by middle of the week.
But I digress. The college game treated me just fine last week, but boy did the NFL fuck me so hard I couldn’t even walk right the next day.
But I’m back. I’m seeing the board with perfect vision, and this will be a bounce back week.

5. Baylor (+110) @ Kansas State
LFG PEOPLE, STARTING OUT WITH A LITTLE MONEYLINE ACTION. Baylor is coming off a big victory against Iowa state, and it looks like Matt Rhule has that program trending in the right direction. Now this is a home game for Kansas State, and they are off to a great start but I get that feeling that this could be an upset for an upstart Baylor squad. Baylor 40 Kansas State 34
4. Michigan State @ Ohio State (-19)
This line has been jumped around between 18-20 points, but I think we still have to take it. Ohio State is on an absolute tear, even if it has been against bad teams, and this defense looks legit while the offense continues to improve. Michigan State can’t score, and the Sparty defense looked suspicious last week. Ohio State 35 Michigan State 10
3. Utah State @ LSU Under 72.5
This is an insane number for any game. I understand that Utah State has an NFL quarterback and that LSU has unleashed there spread attack but I do really believe that LSU will score more than 45 and that LSU will allow more than 21 points to Utah State at home? No, no I do not. LSU 45 Utah State 21.
2. Texas (-11) @ West Virginia
This line is has been trending between 10 and 11 points this week, but what does it matter? Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger is the real deal and should tear up this West Virginia defense. I understand that Texas is missing most of it’s secondary and it’s been a sexy pick to take the Mountaineers, but Texas should handle this easily. Texas 45 West Virginia 24.
- UCF (-3.5) @ Cincinnati
I’ve been on the UCF bandwagon all year, and why get off now? The Bearcats are a good physical football team, but they don’t have the speed to keep up with UCF all over the field. If this line was a TD I’d bet Cincy but give me UCF by a touchdown all day. UCF 24 Cincy 16.

5. Browns +4 @ San Francisco 49ers
I think the 49ers are good, but it’s hard to tell only a quarter of the way through the season. What I do know is that Browns are finally playing like the team they were supposed to be, and having an extra day of travel time to play a night game won’t hurt them by any means. I honestly don’t know wins this game but I think the Browns at least play it close. 49ers 27 Browns 24
4. Packers @ Cowboys under 47
This one I actually did math for. Math is not really my thing, but this was pretty easy. The Packers are allowing 17 points per game while averaging 21. The Cowboys are allowing 14 points per game and averaging 27. As you can see both these defenses are very good, and I expect that to be the case this game with Davante Adams out. Cowboys 24 Packers 21
3. Bears @ Raiders (+185)
Yes, I have a money line as my number three pick. ANd yes, it is the Raiders against the Bears in London. Oh, and yes I love this money line. I think the Bears lose a bit of big play capability without Mitch Trubisky, and on the other side the Raiders are coming off a huge victory last week against the Colts. Raiders 23 Bears 16
2. Colts (+10.5) @ Kansas City
The Chiefs are the second best team in the NFL, and might be the best by the end of the season. But, the Colts are a very solid team that usually plays good opponents pretty tough. In a prime time game I like taking all these points, and Kansas City winning by a touchdown. Chiefs 35 Colts 27
- Falcons @ Texans (-4)
It’s my lock of the week. The Texans, who are coming off a tough loss against the Panthers, should bounce back and handle the Falcons who have been wailing in the wind the past couple of weeks. And not only do I think they bounce back, I think they thrash the Falcons on both sides of the ball. Texans 31 Falcons 17
