Welcome back my friends. What a weekend of football and almost nothing else, which is nearly perfect. The only thing we were missing was going 100 percent on our picks last week, but for now we’ll take 7/10 and SOME FREE $$$.

I do want to be transparent here, because transparency is key to a healthy relationship (this one being with the readers). I have been on fire with my college picks and just average to below average with my NFL picks. Also, to be transparent again (you’re welcome readers) the NFL board sucks this week and I hate it. The college board is a lot friendlier. I’ll let you wrestle with that info.

So lets not mess around anymore and get straight to the picks so you can get your $$$.

JUST AN FYI I”M ON FIRE SO LFG!

Philip laughing at me after I bet on him and the Chargers again. I hate/love you Philip.

NCAA

5. UCLA +4 @ Stanford

For you degens out there that have to bet on a game on Thursday I present you a winner, UCLA +7. Yes, they’re on the road. Yes, the Bruins just got spanked by Oregon State (which is trash). But, the Cardinal are struggling to find a healthy quarterback this week and have been up and down all season. I think Chip Kelly has the Bruins come out fast and keep this close, if not win against a banged up Stanford squad. Stanford 28 UCLA 26

4. Tennessee +34.5 @ Alabama

Tennessee might have found there next quarterback in freshman, Brian Maurer and that’s why I’m picking them to cover 34.5. That momentum will carry the Volunteers to lose by only 28! Congrats to Tennessee on the moral victory. Meanwhile Alabama is still pretty good. Alabama 52 Tennessee 24.

3. Ohio State @ Northwestern +28

Ya that’s right, I’m betting against the mighty Ohio State, the team that I have bet on constantly this season to win some easy $$$. But this week is different. Not saying that Northwestern will pull off a historical upset, but I do think they keep it close at home against an Ohio State team that hasn’t played many formidable opponents. Also, that long grass at Ryan Field is always a fun factor against speedy teams like Ohio State. Ohio State 35 Northwestern 14.

2. Boise State -7 @ BYU

Even with starting quarterback Hank Bachmeier hurt (he’s questionable this week so he could play) I still like the Broncos against an overrated BYU team. Boise State is too fast for this Cougars squad that is missing its star quarterback and best offensive player Zach Wilson. The only worry is that this at BYU home which is always a difficult place to play, but I think Boise State will be just fine. Boise State 31 BYU 17

  1. Clemson -24 @ Louisville

The Cardinals might be one of the most confusing teams in college football when you look at there schedule. Unfortunately for Louisville they haven’t quite faced anyone like Clemson. Sure they faced Notre Dame, but Notre Dame isn’t anywhere close to Clemson talent wise. Even though the Tigers have not looked like them true selves, I expect Trevor Lawrence to have a huge day and put a hurting on the Cardinals. Clemson 49 Louisville 17.

NFL

5. Rams -3 @ Falcons

Both of those teams have a had a rough go of things as of late. After a disappointing loss to the 49ers where quarterback Jared Goff threw for a measly 57 yards the Rams now have an opportunity to bounce back against one of the worst defenses in the league, the Falcons. I assume that the Rams will get that offense back on track and even though this is an away game on the East coast, I still think the Falcons are that bad of a team. Rams 34 Falcons 24

4. Chargers +110 @ Titans

Listen, the Chargers have fucked me multiple times this season. They’ve probably lost me close to $300 just by themselves and I hate them. So that’s why I’m picking them to win in an upset at Tennessee against newly minted starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill. So when the Chargers fuck me again just make sure I’m ok once again. Fuck you Philip, I always stood by your side and you’ve lost me all this money. Chargers 23 Colts 21

3. Jets +9.5 @ Patriots

I think this Jets team is starting to catch its footing at the right time of the season. With starting quarterback Sam Darnold returning and the defense showing some spirit last week I think the Jets will keep it within this 9.5 points. I also think this Patriots defense will start coming back to earth a bit especially against Darnold. Patriots 28 Jets 20

2. Vikings -1 @ Lions

The Lions were screwed in epic fashion against the Packers on Monday night with some horrible officiating. This week they might need some officiating there way if they want to have a chance against the Vikings because in my opinion this won’t be that close. The Vikings are starting to click on offense, and that defense has always been solid. The Lions meanwhile are coming off a physical loss to the Packers on a shorter week. I like the Vikings by at least a touchdown. Vikings 24 Lions 16

  1. Texans -105 @ Colts

The Texans are for real and I’ve been on that bandwagon since the beginning of the season. This is a very good team that is starting to find its identity on both sides of the ball. The Colts are coming off a bye and are at home, but I don’t think they have the pure talent to beat the Texans. Texans 27 Colts 23
