We’ve made it.

It is finally conference championship week in college football, and there is money to be made. I am taking it easy this week on the gambling trail as the holiday season is rapidly approaching, and Bama really fucked me over last week but there are a couple of bets I might slip in this week.

And let us not forget the NFL, where the are a lot of very intriguing matchups and maybe some good bets as well. This one will be short and sweet.

Lets get to it.

THE GOAT

NFL

4. Giants +9.5 @ Eagles

Four simple words: Eli Manning is back.

3. Bengals +8 @ Browns

What a disaster and shame these Browns are. The city of Cleveland deserves better than a incompetent head coach that has lost complete control of his team, and most unfortunately his starting quarterback Baker Mayfield. Meanwhile the Bengals are coming off their first win of the season, and I think they keep it relatively close in a division matchup against a sinking Browns teams. Browns 23 Bengals 17

2. Ravens @ Bills +5.5

This seems like a frisky bet, but Buffalo is not an easy place to play and the Ravens aren’t exactly invincible. I’m not saying the Bills are going to win, but I could see this being a low scoring physical game, a lot like last weeks Ravens game against the 49ers. I think Josh Allen makes enough big plays with his feet and somewhat surprising arm to keep this within the 5.5. Ravens 23 Bills 20

  1. Panthers @ Falcons -3

Here I am back yet again betting on the Falcons. I hate myself for it, but I can’t pass up in this tempting line. The Falcons at home favored by only 3 points against a team that lost to Washington and then fired their head coach of eight years last week is just too easy of a bet. Falcons in a Falcons blowout. Falcons 34 Panthers 23

NCAA

4. Hawaii +13.5 @ Boise State

Can you imagine what kind of chaos there would be right now if Boise State didn’t lose to BYU by three points earlier this season? That would be fun, but we do get to watch these two teams play again this season for a second time. The first time Hawaii lost by 22 points, 59-37 in Boise. This game is in Boise again but I get the feeling that Warriors are going to play this a bit closer. Rainbow Warriors quarterback Cole McDonald has had an up and down year, but has really played well lately. I say Hawaii keeps it within 12. Boise State 38 Hawaii 27

3. Georgia +7.5 @ LSU

I’m just going to put it out there, LSU is currently my favorite team in college football, and it’s not relatively close. But Georgia is fighting for a playoff spot and they know they have to win this game to have a shot. I think Jake Fromm is going to have a huge game against a leaky LSU defense and will pick them apart, but I still think LSU will pull it out just barely. LSU 42 Georgia 38

2. Baylor +9 @ Oklahoma

Last time these two teams played Oklahoma came back from 25 points and beat Baylor to give them their lone loss. Oklahoma is playing really well, and this game could be a play in for the playoff depending on other game so both teams know how important this is. I think Baylors defense plays Oklahoma relatively tough and stays in the game, but Oklahoma should pull away. Oklahoma 35 Baylor 31

  1. Utah -6.5 @ Oregon

This is my lock of the week. I keep hearing a lot of take Oregon +6.5 but let me tell you Utah is going to absolutely blow the doors off the Ducks. That Utes defensive line has NFL talent all along it, and Ducks quarterback Justin Herbert is going to be spooked all night. On the other side of the ball the Utes quarterback Tyler Huntley has been the definition of efficient this season, and I don’t think it will be much different against the Ducks. Utah 30 Oregon 14
