Last week was bad.
It was so bad that I didn’t even bother watching the Sunday night game. Didn’t even know the score till Monday morning, that’s how bad it was.
To be fair it was my NFL picks that really screwed me. I went 1/5 on them as the Chargers fucked me again. The Chargers are like a crazy ex that just keeps popping up every once in a while.
Meanwhile in college I had a better week, but it was still mediocre at 3/5.
The last couple of weeks has been rough betting on the NFL and it has led me to change this up a bit. I’m going to give you seven college bets that I like ranked, and then three NFL picks ranked as well.
The reason being is because I am here to make money and for you to make money, and college is my bread and butter.
So here’s to a better week and hopefully some $$$ made. Lets start with the NFL.

NFL
3. Browns @ Patriots Over 46
2. Browns +13 @ Patriots
I’m just going to group these together to make this easier, but lets start with this. The Patriots are really good. Like really fucking good, especially on defense. But are they really 13 points better than the Browns? That’s a tough question because the Browns have looked as inconsistent as a bad cup of pudding. But, with a couple of key pieces on offense like Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry and Nick Chubb I think the Browns can keep this within two touchdowns.
That is also the reason I think the over hits. Like I said the Patriots defense is unreal good, but I think they have some what of a down game against some talented players that can win 1-1 battles. Meanwhile you know that even though Tom Brady and the Patriots offense has struggled at times I think against an average Browns defense they’ll be just fine. Patriots 31 Browns 20
- Denver Broncos @ Indianapolis Colts -5.5
This is EZ $$$$. The Broncos are absolute garbage, especially at the quarterback position where Joe Flacco looks as uninterested as that one dime piece at the bar when I offered to buy her a drink (offers still available if you read this!). On the other side the Colts are playing very well on both sides of the ball and honestly I think the Colts win by double digits in easy fashion. Colts 26 Broncos 10
NCAA
7. Wisconsin @ Ohio State -14.5
This was slated to be a top five game of the year. Both teams were looking dominant, and Ohio State continued to look dominant when they whooped Northwestern 52-3 (which also shattered my heart on Friday night as Northwestern +whatever it was didn’t even come close). But then Wisconsin lost to 30.5 underdogs Illinois and ruined everything! EVERYTHIGN!!!!
But seriously, Ohio State is just a cut above everyone in the Big 10 and I don’t think Wisconsin will be able to keep up with the Buckeyes speed especially on offense. Defensively the Buckeyes will have to focus on Jonathan Taylor, but even that task should be easy enough. Ohio State 38 Wisconsin 14
6. Cal +21.5 @ Utah
Pac 12 football is crazy man. I truly don’t know who the best team in the conference is, but I do know that Cal should cover three touchdowns against Utah.
Now don’t get me wrong, Utah is the better team. Since Cal’s quarterback got hurt the Golden Bears have scored seven points in a loss to Oregon, then lost to the worst pac 12 team Oregon State. WTF… But even then I think this will be an extremely physical game that should be low scoring on both sides. Utah 24 Cal 10
5. Miami @ Pitt -6
This is kind of a funny match up. Miami has been one of the most frustrating football teams in the last decade, as many college football fans yearn for the “Old U”.
Meanwhile, Pitt is one of the more frustrating teams this season. They are 5-2, but all of there wins have been won by a combined 27 points. There two losses have been lost by a combined 21 points. But if you actually watch these two teams Pitt is the better team, and way more physical team. Give them home field advantage and I think Pitt covers. Pitt 23 Miami 14
4. Oklahoma -23.5 @ Kansas State
One of the most important factors for me when betting on college football is speed of the teams, and boy does Oklahoma have an advantage over Kansas State in that almost at every position. What makes this even more difficult is that Oklahoma’s defense has been actually pretty good with the addition of defensive coordinator Alex Grinch. Oklahoma 48 Kansas State 17
3. Boston College @ Clemson -33.5
Another trend I like to bet on is teams getting hot right around conference schedule time, and Clemson is one of those teams. Since there 1 point win against North Carolina, Clemson won there next conference games by at least 29 points.
Now Clemson faces off against Boston College, and this could get ugly fast. Clemson has too much talent all over the place to struggle at all with Boston College. Clemson 52 Boston College 13
2. Texas -1 @ TCU
I’m a big Texas guy, and have been since the beginning of the season. After the LSU loss some air fell out of the tires for the Longhorns, but they are continuing to win behind some explosive offense. TCU is struggling this season, and since this line is pretty much a pick’em I’ll take Texas all day. Texas 27 TCU 19
- Penn State -6.5 @ Michigan State
Easiest money of the week and if you’ve been reading the column, you know I’ve bet on Penn State quite a bit the last couple of weeks. Well one big reason is because they are part of the same trend as Clemson, getting hot at the right time. On the other side Michigan State seems to be falling apart, and can’t score to save there lives. EZ $$$, bet the house on it. Penn State 31 Michigan State 13
